Crispy and flavorful asparagus fries made in the air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic side dish. Perfect for a quick and easy appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of asparagus

  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • Pinch of salt and pepper

  • 2 eggs

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Wash and trim the ends of one bunch of asparagus.
  • Cut the asparagus into 3-inch long pieces.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of onion powder, 1/2 tsp of paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, beat 2 eggs.
  • Dip the asparagus pieces in the beaten eggs, then coat them in the flour mixture.
  • Place the coated asparagus pieces in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
