These crispy and flavorful baked potato fans are the perfect side dish or snack. They are cooked in the air fryer for a healthier twist on the classic baked potato.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium sized potatoes

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Wash and dry 4 medium sized potatoes.
  • Cut thin slices into the potatoes, making sure not to cut all the way through.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of melted butter, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  • Using a brush, generously brush the butter mixture onto the potatoes, making sure to get in between the slices.
  • Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, open the air fryer and brush the remaining butter mixture onto the potatoes.
  • Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the potatoes are crispy and fully cooked.
  • Serve hot with your choice of toppings, such as sour cream, cheese, bacon, and green onions.

Notes

  • Make sure to cut thin slices into the potatoes to ensure even cooking.
  • You can use any type of potato for this recipe, but russet potatoes work best.
  • Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your taste preferences.
