A delicious and easy appetizer made with creamy ricotta cheese, parmesan, and herbs, all cooked to perfection in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of ricotta cheese, 1 beaten egg, 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese, 1 minced garlic clove, 1/4 tsp of dried oregano, and 1/4 tsp of salt.
  • Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
  • Take a small baking dish and grease it with cooking spray.
  • Pour the ricotta mixture into the baking dish and smooth out the top.
  • Place the baking dish into the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, until the ricotta is set and the edges are lightly golden.
  • Carefully remove the baking dish from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Serve the baked ricotta with your favorite crackers or sliced vegetables.

Notes

  • You can use any type of herbs you like in this recipe, such as thyme, basil, or rosemary.
  • Feel free to add some chopped sun-dried tomatoes or sliced olives for extra flavor.
  • You can also make a larger batch and use a bigger baking dish, just adjust the cooking time accordingly.
