Crispy and Quick, Guilt-free Air Fried Chicken Quesadilla

A delicious and crispy twist on the classic chicken quesadilla, made in an air fryer for a healthier and quicker option. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.


  • 2 flour tortillas

  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

  • 1/4 cup diced onions

  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers

  • 1/4 cup diced jalapenos

  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees F.
  • In a bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, diced onions, bell peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper.
  • Place one tortilla on a flat surface and sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on one half of the tortilla.
  • Spread the chicken mixture on top of the cheese, leaving a small border around the edge.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the chicken mixture.
  • Fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling.
  • Place the quesadilla in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Flip the quesadilla and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  • Repeat with the remaining tortilla and filling.
  • Slice the quesadillas into triangles and serve hot with your choice of toppings and dipping sauces.


  • You can use any type of shredded cheese for this recipe, such as cheddar, Mexican blend, or pepper jack.
  • Feel free to add in any additional toppings, such as diced tomatoes, avocado, or salsa.
  • Serve with a side of sour cream or guacamole for dipping.
