Crispy and flavorful chicken strips made in an air fryer. A healthier alternative to traditional fried chicken strips.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp desired seasonings (paprika, garlic powder, etc.)

  • 1 egg

  • Cooking spray (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Cut chicken breast into strips and season with desired spices.
  • In a small bowl, mix together flour, salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings.
  • In a separate bowl, beat an egg.
  • Dip each chicken strip into the egg, then into the flour mixture, making sure to coat evenly.
  • Place the chicken strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • If desired, spray the strips with cooking spray for a crispier finish.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
