A healthier and easier way to enjoy crunchy and flavorful chickpea nuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of chickpeas

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Desired seasonings

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Rinse and drain a can of chickpeas.
  • Add the chickpeas to a bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, and any desired seasonings.
  • Place the seasoned chickpeas in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  • After 15 minutes, check the chickpeas for desired crispiness and cook for an additional 5 minutes if needed.
  • Once done, remove the chickpeas from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before enjoying.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • Make sure to rinse and drain the chickpeas well before seasoning.
  • Experiment with different seasonings such as garlic powder, paprika, or cumin.
  • For extra crunch, try coating the chickpeas in a thin layer of cornstarch before air frying.
