These crispy and flavorful cod cakes are a healthier alternative to traditional fried fish cakes. They are made in the air fryer for a quick and easy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cod, cut into small pieces

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of cod, 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs, 1 beaten egg, 1 minced garlic clove, 1 diced onion, 1/4 cup of chopped parsley, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt and pepper.
  • Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into small patties, about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Place the cod cakes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes
