Crispy and Quick, Guilt-free Air Fried Frozen Curly Fries

Curly fries were first popularized by the fast food chain Arby’s in the 1980s. They are made by cutting potatoes into spiral shapes and then deep frying them. With the rise of air frying in recent years, frozen curly fries have become a popular option for a quick and easy snack or side dish.

Crispy, golden and delicious curly fries made in the air fryer using frozen store-bought fries. Perfect as a quick snack or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of frozen curly fries

  • Your favorite seasoning (optional)

  • Your favorite dipping sauce (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Spread the frozen curly fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • Check the fries for doneness by cutting one in half. If it’s not fully cooked, continue cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Once done, remove the fries from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Optional: Before serving, sprinkle with your favorite seasoning or dip in your favorite sauce.

Notes

  • Make sure to preheat your air fryer before adding the fries to ensure even cooking.
  • Do not overcrowd the basket, as this can result in uneven cooking.
  • If you prefer a softer fry, cook for 1-2 minutes less. For a crispier fry, cook for 1-2 minutes more.
