Crispy and Quick, Guilt-free Air Fried Halibut

Crispy, flavorful halibut fillets coated in a Parmesan and herb crust, cooked to perfection in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (such as thyme, oregano, or parsley)

  • Lemon wedges for serving

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Rinse the halibut fillets and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
  • In a separate dish, whisk together eggs and milk.
  • In a third dish, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and dried herbs.
  • Dip each halibut fillet in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and finally the bread crumb mixture.
  • Place the coated fillets in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is flaky and golden brown.
  • Serve with lemon wedges and your choice of sides.

Notes

  • Make sure to preheat your air fryer for best results.
  • You can use any dried herbs you like, such as thyme, oregano, or parsley.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of salt and pepper to your taste.
