A delicious and easy way to make a classic hot Italian beef sandwich using your air fryer. Tender slices of beef, tangy giardiniera, and melted mozzarella cheese all stuffed between crispy Italian bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian bread

  • 1/2 cup giardiniera

  • 1 pound hot Italian beef, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • Au jus for dipping

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Slice a loaf of Italian bread in half lengthwise and place it in the air fryer basket.
  • Spread a layer of giardiniera (pickled vegetables) on the bottom half of the bread.
  • Top with thinly sliced hot Italian beef.
  • Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Place the top half of the bread on top of the beef and cheese.
  • Brush the top of the bread with melted butter.
  • Place the sandwich in the air fryer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Slice and serve with a side of au jus for dipping.
