A flavorful and easy way to cook Italian sausage in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage

  • Meat thermometer

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Remove the Italian sausage from its casing and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
  • Place the sausage pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the sausage for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check the internal temperature of the sausage with a meat thermometer. It should reach 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • If the sausage is not fully cooked, continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Once fully cooked, remove the sausage from the air fryer and let it rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to shake the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
  • You can use either fresh or frozen Italian sausage for this recipe.
  • Adjust cooking time as needed depending on the size and thickness of the sausage pieces.
