Crispy and Quick, Guilt-free Air Fried Monte Cristo

The Monte Cristo sandwich, also known as the French Toasted Ham and Cheese sandwich, is believed to have originated in the United States in the 1930s. It is a variation of the classic French croque-monsieur sandwich, which is typically made with ham and Gruyere cheese. The Monte Cristo sandwich is usually made with ham, turkey, or chicken and Swiss cheese, and is usually deep fried. This air fried version offers a healthier twist on the classic sandwich.
