Crispy and Quick, Guilt-free Air Fried Pita Chips

Pita bread has been a staple in Mediterranean cuisine for centuries. It is believed to have originated in ancient Greece, where it was used to scoop up food or wrap food for easy transportation. Pita chips, on the other hand, are a more recent invention. They were first created in the 1990s by a chef in New York City who was looking for a way to use up leftover pita bread. Pita chips gained popularity as a healthier alternative to traditional potato chips and are now a popular snack option in many countries.
