These crispy air fryer polenta fries are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional french fries. They are coated in a flavorful cornmeal mixture and cooked to perfection in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 tube of polenta

  • 1/4 cup cornmeal

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Cooking spray

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cut polenta into thin fries, about 1/4 inch wide.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of cornmeal, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
  • Dip each polenta fry into the cornmeal mixture, making sure to coat all sides.
  • Place the coated fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Lightly spray the fries with cooking spray.
  • Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip the fries and air fry for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Make sure to spray the fries with cooking spray to help them get crispy.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket, as this can prevent the fries from getting crispy.
  • Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your liking.
  • These fries are best served hot and fresh.
