Gyros are a popular Greek dish that originated in Athens in the 19th century. Traditionally, gyros are made with layers of meat, usually lamb, cooked on a vertical rotisserie and then shaved off and served in a pita with toppings. However, this version uses pork and is cooked in an air fryer for a quicker and healthier option.
