These crispy and flavorful potato patties are the perfect side dish or snack. They are easy to make in the air fryer and are a healthier alternative to traditional fried potato patties.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes

  • 1 beaten egg

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 minced garlic clove

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  • Peel and grate 4 medium-sized potatoes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes with 1 beaten egg, 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs, 1 minced garlic clove, 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion, 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Using your hands, form the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties.
  • Place the patties in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping the patties halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or toppings.

Notes

  • You can add your favorite herbs and spices to the potato mixture for extra flavor.
  • Make sure to squeeze out any excess moisture from the grated potatoes before mixing them with the other ingredients.
  • You can also use a combination of sweet potatoes and regular potatoes for a different twist on this recipe.
