Crispy and Quick, Guilt-free Air Fried Potato Wedges

Potatoes have been a staple food in many cultures for centuries. They were first domesticated in South America and were later introduced to the rest of the world by Spanish explorers. Today, potatoes are one of the most widely consumed vegetables in the world. Potato wedges, a popular form of potatoes, were first created in the United States in the 1960s and have since become a favorite side dish or snack for many.

These potato wedges are a healthier alternative to traditional fried potatoes. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making them the perfect side dish or snack.


  • 4 medium-sized potatoes

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash and dry 4 medium-sized potatoes. Cut them into wedges.
  • In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • Add the potato wedges to the bowl and toss them in the seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
  • Place the potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through the cooking time.
  • Once the wedges are crispy and golden brown, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.


  • Make sure to cut the potatoes into even-sized wedges for even cooking.
  • You can adjust the seasoning to your liking by adding more or less of each spice.
  • For extra crispy wedges, you can spray them with cooking oil before cooking.
