Crispy and Quick, Guilt-free Air Fried Roasted Fennel

A delicious and healthy way to enjoy roasted fennel using an air fryer.


  • 1 large fennel bulb

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • ½ teaspoon salt


  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut one large fennel bulb into thin slices, about ¼ inch thick.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
  • Place the fennel slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Drizzle the oil and spice mixture over the fennel slices.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping the fennel slices halfway through.
  • Once the fennel is golden and slightly crispy, remove from the air fryer.
  • Serve as a side dish or use as a topping for salads or pizzas.

  • If your air fryer has a smaller basket, you may need to cook the fennel in two batches.
  • Adjust seasoning to your taste preferences.
