Ingredients
1 pound ground salmon
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
4 burger buns, toasted
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, mayo or tartar sauce
Directions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground salmon, 1 beaten egg, 1/4 cup of bread crumbs, 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion, 1 minced garlic clove, 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard, and 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh dill.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping the patties halfway through, until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Assemble the burgers on toasted buns with your choice of toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, avocado, and a spread of mayo or tartar sauce.

Notes
- If you don’t have an air fryer, you can also cook these burgers on a grill or stovetop.
- Be sure to use ground salmon that is fresh and has not been previously frozen.
- You can also add other seasonings or herbs to the burger mixture for added flavor.
