This easy and healthy air fryer stir-fried cauliflower is the perfect side dish or vegetarian main course. It’s packed with flavor and cooks quickly in the air fryer, making it a great option for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1 inch piece of ginger, grated

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil to make the stir-fry sauce.
  • Place the cauliflower florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the cauliflower for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • In a separate pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and grated ginger and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the stir-fry sauce to the pan and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked cauliflower to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cauliflower is fully coated and cooked through.
  • Serve the stir-fried cauliflower hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

  • Make sure to cut the cauliflower into evenly-sized florets so they cook evenly.
  • You can add additional vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli to this dish for added flavor and nutrients.
  • For a spicier dish, add some red pepper flakes or sriracha to the stir-fry sauce.
