However, with the rise in popularity of air fryers, this recipe has been adapted to use the air fryer for a healthier and quicker option.

These delicious stuffed mushrooms are perfect for a quick and easy appetizer or snack. The air fryer gives them a crispy exterior while keeping the filling creamy and flavorful. They are also a great option for those following a low-carb or keto diet.

Ingredients

  • 12 large white mushrooms

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  • Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped spinach, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and salt and pepper.
  • Stuff the mushroom caps with the cream cheese mixture.
  • Place the stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • If your air fryer does not have a preheat function, simply turn it on and let it run for a few minutes before adding the mushrooms.
  • Feel free to add in any additional herbs or spices to the cream cheese mixture for added flavor.
  • These stuffed mushrooms can also be made in the oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes.
