Ingredients
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup diced jalapenos
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
24 frozen tator tots
Cooking spray or oil for greasing
Directions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Place a tator tot on a cutting board and use a small knife to cut a slit in the side, creating a pocket.
- Stuff the tator tot with the cream cheese mixture, using about 1 tsp per tator tot.
- Repeat with the remaining tator tots and cream cheese mixture.
- Grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil.
- Place the stuffed tator tots in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tator tots are crispy and golden brown.
- Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
